Who Are We?
As Turkish Derivatives Exchange (TurkDEX) faded away with honor in September 2013, at the end of the merging process of Turkish exchanges, INFORCE GFG has emerged in the hands of its founder Gokhan UGAN, one of the team members who created the success story of TurkDEX, the first private exchange of Turkey.

Having graduated from the School of Political Sciences, Economics Department at the Ankara University in 1991, Gökhan Ugan started his career at the Istanbul Stock Exchange. Having worked in the Equity Market, Market Oversight, Derivatives Market, and the Risk Management departments from 1991 to 2008, he served as “Director of Market Oversight” at Turkish Derivatives Exchange (TURKDEX) from 2008 to 2013. He received his masters degree (MSBA) at Strayer University USA in 1997, and his PhD in Quantitative Methods at the School of Business Administration in İstanbul University in 2008. Gökhan Ugan carried out various studies on derivative instruments pricing at London School of Economics (LSE) and gave lectures primarily in the organizations of The Association of Capital Market Intermediary Institutions of Turkey, universities, and other institutions. Gökhan Ugan holds licenses of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Continuity Manager (CCM), as well as The Capital Market Activities Advanced Level Certification and The Derivative Instruments Certification of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.
İpek Tezer, who started her career in year 2003 at TurkDEX (Turkish Derivatives Exchange), graduated from METU (Middle East Technical University), Department of Statistics. During her eleven-year-long career at TurkDEX, she worked ‘Contract Design, Research and Statistics’ department, ‘Training and Public Relations’ department and finally in the ‘Project Development’ department. During this period, she developed some risk-control models that have the quality of being first in Turkey, worked as lecturer for institutional training seminars for Employees of Brokerage Companies about Derivative Instruments and contributed in integration of a new trading system which would be used at TurkDEX. At the same time, she completed MBA (Master of Business Administration) Program in Faculty of Business Administration in Ege University. After her career at TurkDEX, she completed the Professional Baking and Pastry Program in both USLA (International Academy of Service and Taste) and American Hospitality Academy. İpek Tezer switched to gastronomy sector by opening and managing a restaurant and a French patisserie shop with the name of Madame Lim in İzmir-Urla. İpek Tezer, at the same time, is one of the founder shareholders in a portfolio management company that was established in Toronto, Canada in year 2018. Holding franchise rights of many Turkish companies for Canada region, this company let suitable Turkish Investors use these franchise rights and helps those investors to open franchises in Canada. Tezer is professional for strategies of spreading branches abroad, brand-creation, financial solutions, getting support funds both from Canadian and Turkish Governments for the Turkish companies who is willing to spread out abroad, especially in Canada and North America region. She also provides consultancy services within the scope of entry into Turquality.
Born in Malkara, Tekirdağ in 1969, Calali YILMAZ graduated from Istanbul Finance Vocational High School in 1987 and from Ankara University School of Political Sciences in 1991. In the same year, he entered the Capital Markets Board with his professional staff exam, and after 28 years working in positions such as Expert, Chief Expert, Head of Market Surveillance and Regulation Department, Head of Audit Department, Istanbul Representative, Consultant, he transferred to the university. He completed his master's degree in Marmara University Institute of Banking and Insurance Capital Market and Stock Exchange and a PhD in Banking. Between 1997-1998, he conducted postgraduate education and research at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance. He has taught finance and history at various universities since 2008, he became associate professor in 2012 and professor in 2020. He is still a lecturer at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Political Sciences. He has all of the capital market licenses and CFE license. He also performs as legal expert in area of capital markets. He has six books published on taxation, finance and history in the capital market, numerous articles and translations from Ottoman Turkish and English. He is married with two children.
Elvan Korkmaz began her career in Ankara Chamber of Industry right after graduating from Ankara University in 1992. In 1994, she passed the entrance exam for specialist of a private bank, and served as branch manager in the same bank until 2004. Being A Certified Public Accountant, she worked as financial manager in several companies afterwards. As a married woman and mother of one child, she likes reading, writing, and listening to music.
